Gianni's Pizzeria (“Gianni's”, “us”, “we”, or “our”) welcomes you to our platform and wants to make sure you understand how we process, collect and store the personal data that you share while using our applications. Your personal information is very important to us and we are committed to protecting the privacy of our users.

 

By using our mobile applications and our services, you trust us with your personal information and agree to the terms listed below in this policy. Information Collected

 

Personal information consists of data that is voluntarily shared with us in the event that a user creates an account, places an order, creates a reservation, interacts with our service, signs up for our mailing list or enters a promotional giveaway.

Name and Contact Info - we collect your name, email, and phone number when you register for an account. Your delivery address can be voluntarily saved with your account for easier check outs in the future.

 

Confirmed Phone Number - we allow you to voluntarily verify your phone number upon registration in order to participate in initial reward and referral offers. Verification is required to ensure that users only have access to these initial offerings once per registered phone number and protect the service from users from taking advantage or misusing these offerings.

 

Credentials - we collect passwords and similar account credentials used for account authentication and authorizing account access.

 

Device Information - we collect information about the mobile device or computer that you used to access our platform, including without limitation to the hardware model, operating system and version, browser type, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.

 

Order Information - we collect information on each order placed through our service (including ordered items, price, name, delivery address, payment information, order type and other necessary information to complete an order.)

 

Reward Programs - we store reward data for our registered users to reward them as they place orders or refer friends to the service.

 

Payment Data - we collect payment information at the time of the order and only store the card for future purchases if the user voluntarily chooses to do so. However there is the case that an order for a future date requires a card on file. You can delete the card after the order is complete or you can delete the order and the card before it is processed. All payment data is stored and processed by our payment processor (Stripe) and you should review their privacy policies if concerned.

Social Media - users have the option to quickly register for our services using Social Media account details from services like Facebook.

User Generated Content - we collect user submitted content including but not limited to item reviews, order reviews, favorite items, favorite orders and reservations.

 

Geolocation - with permission, we collect the users location in order to show them relevant store locations closest to them.

 

It is important to note that you are able to use our services anonymously however it will limit the service capabilities in terms of features available and personalized experience.

 

Information Automatically Collected

 

When interacting with Gianni's Pizzeria and using our services, we automatically collect information about your device and how it interacts with our applications. The information doesn’t reveal any personally identifiable information like name or contact information, however it may include usage information such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, and other information about how you use our service. Some examples of data we automatically collect include the following:

 

Service Use Data - collects user properties (including information listed above) and collect user usage data through pre-defined events to collect information about the way in which our users are interacting with our app.

 

Crash Analytics - we collect crash data when the app suddenly quits unexpectedly to help us monitor and analyze the issues to improve the user experience.

Gianni's Pizzeria’s primary purpose in collecting personal information is to provide users with an enjoyable personalized experience, complete orders, re-market to customers and improve our services. Reasons we use your personal data include but aren’t limited to:

 

Improve the Service - we use collected data and usage patterns to monitor and improve the platform to optimize the user experience.

 

Account Authentication - we use caching and similar technologies to remember your current session to keep you logged in when you return to our service. In the event that you do not use our app for an extended period of time you will be logged out and required to enter your password to gain account access.

 

Push Notifications - we use device information if you opt-in to send you push notifications about order status updates, events and specials. You may opt-out of notification permissions at any time in your device settings.

 

In-app Messaging/ Communication - as you interact with our service, certain actions will send messages to your in-app inbox to keep open a constant line of semi-automated communication with our users.

 

Place Orders - we use the information provided by the user(you) to place your order.

 

Quicker Checkout - you may voluntarily store delivery addresses, favorite menu items, quick orders and payment information in order to allow for quicker check outs.

 

Complete Transactions - all payment information provided is securely stored and charged through a reputable third-party merchant service known as Stripe.

Marketing Purposes - we may send out newsletters and email campaigns to let you know about upcoming events, specials, and other important updates. You may unsubscribe at any time by following the directions on the bottom of the email.

 

Customer Service - we use personal information when communicating with our users to resolve technical issues and receive user suggestions and ideas for improving the service.

 

Reviews - approved user generated reviews will be displayed to allow all users to see what others have to say about an item or experience before placing their order.

 

Enforce Policies - used to enforce these policies along with other terms and conditions set forth by our services.


 

Shared Information

 

We do not sell, share, rent, trade or give away your personal information. Information will only be shared with your consent, to comply with laws or to fulfill business obligations.

How long do we store info

 

We store information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes outlined in this policy. We will retain information for as long as you have an account with the service.

 

When we have no ongoing legitimate business needs for your data, we will delete or anonymize your personal information. If that is not possible (in the event that the data was stored in back archives) we will securely store your personal information and isolate it until deletion is possible.

We have implemented and partner with trusted third-party providers to ensure that your privacy and personal information is secure and protected. However please remember that due to the unpredictability of the internet we cannot guarantee the security of your information collected through our applications. Although we will do our best to protect your information, it is important to note that all personal information is shared at your own risk. Please be sure to only access our applications from a secure environment.

 

Social Media Features

 

Our applications include the option to quickly create an account through a third-party like Facebook. In the event that you choose to sign up with Facebook, our application collects the approved data including public profile information, email address, phone number and friends list.

Analytics

 

Gianni's Pizzeria uses third-party services such as Google Firebase Analytics to track and measure usage patterns in order to improve our service. These services may use cookies and other tracking technologies to analyze application usage. It is important to note that the analytic data can’t be confined to the patterns of a single user and more so represents usage patters of users segmented into different groups.

Privacy Rights

 

Account information:

 

You have the right and ability to view your personal information that you have voluntarily submitted to us within our mobile applications. You have the ability to edit, modify, delete or remove all personal information including saved addresses, saved payment information, account information directly within our mobile applications.

 

In the event that you need help accessing this information, making any changes or would like to request the deletion of your account you can do so by sending us an email at support@adapptt.com

 

Upon request of your account deletion, we will permanently deactivate and delete your account from our active databases. However some data (ex: order’s placed) may be left in our systems to prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, and retain sales information.


 

Email Campaigns:

 

We may send you communications related to specials, in-store events, product updates or anything we feel important to share with our community. If you do not wish to receive emails from us you can opt out at any time by following the directions on the bottom of the email or sending us an email to let us know you do not wish to receive them.


 

Children:

 

Our platform is not intended for and shouldn’t be used by children under the age of 13 years old.

 

California Privacy Rights:

 

Pursuant to Section 1798.83 of the California Civil Code, also known as the “Shine The Light” law, permits residents of California have the right to request from a business, with whom the California resident has an established business relationship, certain information with respect to the types of personal information the business shares with third parties for direct marketing purposes by such third party and the identities of the third parties with whom the business has shared such information during the immediately preceding calendar year.

 

If you reside in California, are under the age of 18 years old and have a registered account with our applications you have the right to request removal of unwanted data that has been posted on any of our apps. If you fit the criteria and would like to request the removal of such content please contact us at the information below and be sure to attach the email address associated with your account and a statement of proof that you reside in California. We will make sure that the data is not publicly displayed however be aware that to maintain financial records all information may not be fully removable from our systems.


 

Policy Updates

 

We may make changes to this privacy policy from time to time to consistently keep you informed in the event that we make changes to the way we process and handle your data. Prior to the changes taking effect we will send out an email and then republish the policy with a revised date on our website.
